Applying for accreditation is possible either electronically or by sending an application by post or by submitting in person:
• To apply for permanent accreditation electronically, please fill out the application form for accreditation;
• to apply for permanent accreditation by sending the application documents by post (Valsts prezidenta kanceleja, Pils laukums 3, Rīga, LV-1900) or by submitting a filled-out application form for accreditation in person at the Chancery of the President of Latvia with the indication “For Permanent Media Accreditation 2019” by 27 December 2018 (postal stamp).
Permanent accreditation is granted to those media representatives, whose daily work is related to the coverage of the activities of the President of Latvia and the Chancery of the President of Latvia.
For media representatives who have had permanent accreditation granted in 2018, only the name, surname, and the name of the media can be indicated on the application form for accreditation. In this case, a manager of the media shall confirm the fact in the officially signed application (both electronic, sent by post, and submitted in person) that the information submitted to the Chancery of the President of Latvia before, including the contact details, has not changed.
