Valsts prezidents Raimonds Vējonis Minhenes drošības konferences laikā tiekas ar Armēnijas prezidentu
On Friday, 15 February 2019, President of Latvia Raimonds Vējonis met with President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian during the Munich Security Conference.

During the meeting, both officials noted the need to further strengthening of political and economic cooperation between the two countries, including the opportunities offered by the European Union-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA).

The President of Latvia urged Armenia to continue the reforms launched, especially in the areas of justice, economics, and regional development. “Latvia is aware of the challenges associated with the implementation of reforms, so we are ready to provide our support to Armenia and share our knowledge and experience,” stated Raimonds Vējonis.
