During the visit, the President of Ireland and his spouse will meet with President of Latvia Raimonds Vējonis and First Lady of Latvia Iveta Vējone in the Riga Castle. Afterwards, both presidential couples will take part in the flower laying ceremony at the Freedom Monument. In his turn, the President of Ireland will donate a book to the People’s Bookshelf at the National Library of Latvia. Both First Ladies will have a special programme of the visit, by attending the Latvian National Museum of Art.
