Valsts prezidents turpina aicinājumu atbalstīt Latvijas muzejus un kultūrtelpas
On Monday, 8 June, President of Latvia Egils Levits will visit Pedvāle Open-Air Museum and National Resistance Museum in Renda in scope of his campaign ‘Support Latvian museums and cultural space’.

President’s visit to Pedvāle Open-Air Museum will include a meeting with the director of the museum and sculptor Ojārs Feldbergs, tour of the renovated Fircks-Pedvale Manor and Talsi Bush Art Group exhibition.

Egils Levits will also visit Briņķpedvāle to see the outdoor art installation ‘Sitting’ devoted to the 100th Anniversary of the Latvian Constitutional Assembly’s first sitting. President also urges everyone to go see this work of art.

President Levits will then go to National Resistance Museum in Renda to honour everyone who opposed the regime throughout occupation and fought for Latvia’s freedom.

Egils Levits’ visit to museums in Pedvāle and Renda, and meetings with culture industry representatives, are part of President’s call to people living in Latvia to visit Latvian museums and show their support to national culture and art.
