On 4 June, President Edgars Rinkēvičs met at Riga Castle with the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Odile Renaud-Basso.The President expressed his appreciation for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development’s 35th annual meeting and Business forum, taking place in Riga from 5 to 7 June. He also welcomed the financial institution’s intention to increase its extensive support for Ukraine. President Rinkēvičs encouraged representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development to strengthen cooperation on project implementation in Latvia, including in the country’s eastern border regions.
