On 4 May, marking the 35th anniversary of the restoration of the independence of the Republic of Latvia, a formal ceremony was held at the Riga Castle to present Latvia’s highest state honours – the Order of the Three Stars, the Order of Viesturs, and the Cross of Recognition.
