On 5 November, during his working visit to Brazil, President Edgars Rinkēvičs visited São Paulo, where he met with the Governor of the State of São Paulo, Tarcísio Gomes de Freitas. President Rinkēvičs affirmed Latvia’s interest in strengthening cooperation between Latvia and Brazil, with particular emphasis on enhancing economic ties. “Latvia is keen to deepen cooperation with Brazil, especially with the São Paulo region, as one of the most powerful economic centres in South America.
