To promote the international visibility of Latvian startups and attract investment, President of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs addressed startups and US investors at the TechChill networking event in New York on September 23, and listened to pitches from 12 Latvian startups.

As reported, President of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs is paying a working visit to the United States of America on 17-28 September to attend the opening of the 81st Session of the UN General Assembly in New York and the 75th Anniversary Congress of the American Latvian Association in Washington. President of Latvia, together with Latvian companies, will also have several meetings in Los Angeles and San Diego. President’s working visit to the United States will finish with a 75th Anniversary of Latvian School in Los Angeles celebration and meeting with Latvian diaspora.
