On 24 October, the President of Latvia Egils Levits met with Krišjānis Kariņš and representatives of the party alliance "Jaunā Vienotība" (New Unity) to discuss the progress of negotiations on the formation of the new coalition. After the meeting, E. Levits announced that the coalition would consist of three parties - " Jaunā Vienotība" (New Unity), "Apvienotais Saraksts" (United List) and Nacionālā apvienība "Visu Latvijai! -"Tevzemei un Brīvībai/LNNK" (National Alliance).
The President of Latvia announced that the coalition partners would try to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation this week.
