On 14 July President Edgars Rinkēvičs presents Letters of Credence at the Riga Castle to: 

• H.E. Mr Kaspars Krumholcs, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Latvia to Japan;
• H.E. Ms Katarina Plātere, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Latvia to Canada;
