President of Czech Republic Petr Pavel and First Lady Eva Pavlová to pay a state visit to Latvia

On 10–11 March, the President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel and First Lady Eva Pavlová will be paying a state visit to the Republic of Latvia.

In the discussions between President of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs and President of Czech Republic Petr Pavel, the two leaders are expected to address Latvian–Czech bilateral relations, cooperation in the field of defence, security issues in the region, transatlantic relations as well as Russia’s ongoing war against Ukraine and support for Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression.

Media representatives are invited to apply for accreditation to cover the state visit by emailing the Media Centre of the Chancery of the President of Latvia at prese@president.lv no later than 12:00 on 6 March 2026.

When attending the events listed in the media programme, media representatives are requested to observe formal dress code. A valid identity document – passport or ID card – must be presented upon arrival.
