On 14 July, President Edgars Rinkēvičs met with representatives of the Employers’ Confederation of Latvia at Riga Castle.
The parties discussed preparations for the 2027 national budget and measures to reduce public sector expenditure, trends in the development of human capital in Latvia, including immigration policy, proposed amendments to the Labour Law, and issues relating to civil protection.
