President of Latvia Egils Levits will travel to EXPO 2020 DUBAI on 26-28 November to meet with foreign investors, businesses and politicians from various countries and discuss potential investments projects in Latvia.
President of Latvia will join a delegation of Latvian Investment and Development Agency (LIDA) experts and businesses for the National Day international business community outreach events. Many of its events will focus on investment projects linked to Latvia’s chairmanship in the Three Seas Initiative (3SI). 3SI is designed to foster infrastructure cooperation between Central and Eastern European countries in sectors like transport, energy and digital connectivity. International investments into the development of the region are another priority of this platform.
President of Latvia will meet with top UAE officials to discuss current international and trade cooperation. He will also meet with Latvian diaspora.
EXPO 2020 DUBAI will be attended by 120 Latvian companies, while another 80 Latvian enterprises will join various events remotely. Latvian business delegation is comprised of key ICT, transport, logistics, food, innovative construction materials and technologies, pharmaceuticals and medical technology industry players. Latvia’s participation in EXPO 2020 DUBAI is coordinated by LIDA.
