On Friday, 19 September 2025, President Edgars Rinkēvičs reviewed clemency requests of 18 convicted persons. Seventeen clemency requests were denied, while one individual was pardoned. The convicted person has been fully released from serving additional punishment and the criminal record has been expunged.
