The President of Latvia: a lasting solution must be found for the preservation of the exhibition 'Corner House' of the Museum of the Occupation of Latvia

On 12 April, President Edgars Rinkēvičs held a meeting with the Minister of Culture Agnese Logina at the Riga Castle to discuss the preservation of the exhibition 'Corner House' of the Museum of the Occupation of Latvia and to hear the Minister's opinion on the development of public media, especially after the discussion on this issue initiated by the President of Latvia on 8 April at the Riga Castle.

The President of Latvia and the Minister of Culture agreed that a long-term solution should be found for the preservation of the exhibition 'Corner House' of the Museum of the Occupation of Latvia beyond 2050.

Additionally, the parties exchanged views on issues related to the implementation of the project 'Liepāja 2027 - European Capital of Culture'.
