On 3 August, President Edgars Rinkēvičs met with the Chair of the Competition Council, Ieva Šmite, at Riga Castle.
The parties discussed the measures implemented by the Competition Council to detect and prevent infringements of competition law in priority sectors, current market research, and progress on draft legislation relating to the competition policy framework.
