On 15 September, President Edgars Rinkēvičs at the Riga Castle met with the President of the Latvian Olympic Committee Raimonds Lazdiņš to discuss the readiness of Latvian athletes for the XXV Winter Olympic Games in 2026.
The parties also discussed initiatives related to improving the overall physical fitness of young people.
