The President of Latvia expressed Latvia's unwavering support for Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic integration and highlighted Latvia's willingness to provide political, military, and financial assistance to Ukraine until its victory. During the meeting, E. Rinkēvičs reiterated Latvia's support for the prompt opening of negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the European Union (EU).
The President of Latvia welcomed the agreement reached on long-term support and security commitments, pledging to provide Ukraine with military support amounting to 0.25% of the country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for this year and the following two years.
E. Rinkēvičs underscored Latvia's readiness to support Ukraine in international organizations, including by sharing Latvia's experience of EU accession.
