President of Latvia Egils Levits will make the official visit to Switzerland on 11–12 April. He will meet with the President of Swiss Confederation Ignazio Cassis to mark the 100 years of diplomatic relations between Latvia and Switzerland, discuss future bilateral cooperation and security in Europe.

President Levits will deliver the so-called ‘Churchill Lecture’ on the current situation in the world and historic turbulences caused by Russia’s war against Ukraine at the University of Zurich. Egils Levits will also visit Rainis and Aspazija Museum in Lugano.
