During his working visit on July 14, President of Latvia will attend the awarding ceremony of the Peace of Westphalia Prize. This year, the three Baltic States, Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia, have been designated for the prestigious award for their significant contribution to the peaceful and democratic development of the region. The Presidents of three the Baltic States, President of the Republic of Estonia Kersti Kaljulaid, President of the Republic of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė, and President of the Republic of Latvia Raimonds Vējonis, as well as President of the Federal Republic of Germany Dr Frank-Walter Steinmeier will attend the ceremony.
During his visit, the President of Latvia will meet with Prime Minister of North Rhine-Westphalia Armin Laschet.
