President of Latvia Egils Levits will attend the World Economic Forum in Davos on 22-25 May. He will join other opinion leaders for a discussion on the security, economics and future of Europe and the world.

Organisers of the World Economic Forum have invited President Levits to take part in the discussion on the future of democracy (livestream), Three Seas Initiative leaders’ panel discussion on the development of modern infrastructure in Central and Eastern Europe and a number of other discussions about security of Ukraine, Europe and the world.

Egils Levits will also attend discussions about energy and geopolitical challenges, impact of digital technologies on democracy, issues affecting economy, climate and other areas. He will also join other global economic opinion leaders for round table discussions about the future and sustainability of the European Union.

Working visit of the President of Latvia Egils Levits to Davos shall include a number of bilateral meetings with other world leaders, including the Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum Klaus Schwab and Meta’s President of Global Affairs Nick Clegg.

Egils Levits will be accompanied by First Lady Andra Levite. She will use the working visit to Davos to discuss social, healthcare and mental well-being, environmental sustainability and green lifestyle with other participants.
