On 7 October, at the invitation of the President of Latvia Edgaras Rinkēvičs a discussion on the advantages and challenges of the defence industry in Latvia will be held at the Riga Castle. The discussion will address the role of the defence industry in strengthening Latvia's defence capabilities and ensuring long-term support to Ukraine. Participants will exchange views on further steps in building the capacity of the industry and promoting effective cooperation and dialogue. The discussion will be attended by the Ministers for Defence and Economics, as well as representatives of defence industry associations and entrepreneurs.
