At the invitation of President Edgars Rinkēvičs, a discussion on demographic issues will take place at the Riga Castle to review progress achieved to date and to address priority tasks for improving demographic trends. Representatives of Saeima parliamentary groups and relevant committees, line ministers, government social partners, as well as non-governmental organisations working in the field of family welfare, and demography researchers and experts have been invited to participate.
