To mark the 20th anniversary of Latvia's accession to the European Union, Riga Castle will host a solemn guard of honour ceremony and the raising of the European Union flag in the Holy Spirit Tower of Riga Castle. The event will be attended by the President of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs, the Speaker of the Saeima Daiga Mieriņa, the Prime Minister Evika Siliņa, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Baiba Braže and the President of the Supreme Court Aigars Strupišs.
