On 27 August, President Edgars Rinkēvičs, Commander of the National Armed Forces Lieutenant General Kaspars Pudāns, and Commander of the National Guard Brigadier General Aivars Krjukovs will visit the 4th Kurzeme Brigade of the National Guard.
Media representatives are requested to register their attendance by 12.00 noon on 26 August with Ilze Grīnfelde, Senior Specialist at the Communications Division of the 4th Kurzeme Brigade Headquarters of the National Guard, by email at Ilze.Grinfelde@mil.lv, providing their full name, media organisation, personal identity number, car make and registration number. Media representatives must bring a valid identity document – a passport or ID card.

President Edgars Rinkēvičs, Commander of the National Armed Forces Lieutenant General Kaspars Pudāns and Commander of the National Guard Brigadier General Aivars Krjukovs visit “Mežaine” military base, including the National Defence Service’s training area and their working and living facilities. They will also meet with National Defence Service personnel who began their service at “Mežaine” military base for the first time this July.
