‘Democracy and civic society in Latvia and Europe’, the first day of the new term, will launch the Democracy Academy on 30 January at the Riga Castle. Democracy Academy is a civic initiative with approved study programme for more than 200 public, local, non-governmental employees, active Latvians and local leaders from all parts of Latvia.
