International conference will see President of Latvia Egils Levits, family and friends of Professor Dietrich André Loeber, legal scholars and historians discuss Professor’s role in supporting restoration of Latvian State and its legal system.
Conference will be moderated by Dr. iur. Inese Lībiņa-Egnere, Minister for Justice, professor at Civil Law Department, Faculty of Law, University of Latvia, and Dr. hist. Andris Levāns, associated professor and head of History and Archaeology Department, Faculty of Philosophy and History, University of Latvia.
Other organisers of conference include Mentzendorff House Museum and NGO DOMUS RIGENSIS Latvian-German Culture Centre, Institut für Kultur und Geschichte der Deutschen in Nordosteuropa (Institute for the Culture and History of Germans in Northeast Europe) and Deutsch-Baltische Gesellschaft (German-Baltic Association).
