President of Latvia Egils Levits takes part in high-level expert e-conference ‘Building information space for strong democracy’ and opens a panel discussion ‘How can Latvia’s information space serve its constitutional purpose?’

Conference will be streamed on www.president.lv, Facebook and Twitter account/channel of the President, LMT Straume and webpage of the University of Latvia. Aim of the conference ‘Building information space for strong democracy’ is to contribute to creation of a single information space, which reinforces public values and serves public interests, supported by inter-disciplinary framework that helps project and prevent risks posed by contemporary technological diversity, as well as enabling efficient multimedia content distribution and public relations. Conference is co-organised by Association ‘Formula of Latvia 2050’, Latvia State Radio and Television Centre, SJSC, University of Latvia, Cross-sectoral Coordination Centre, Ministry of Economics, European Commission Representation in Latvia and Latvijas Mobilais Telefons, Ltd.
