On 3 October President Edgars Rinkēvičs will pay a working visit to Sigulda municipality. During his visit, President Rinkēvičs will meet with the leadership of the Sigulda municipality. It is also planned to visit the Sigulda State Gymnasium, where the President of Latvia will take part in a national defence training session at the Sigulda Sports Centre. President Rinkēvičs and the management of the Sports Centre will discuss issues related to the development of sports and the range of services offered to the residents. During the visit, the President of Latvia will get acquainted with the work of the Sigulda Municipality Police and visit the Sigulda branch of the Adolescent Resource Centre.
The President of Latvia will learn about the business environment and related topical issues during the meeting with representatives and visiting several companies of Sigulda Municipality – “Baltu rotas" Ltd, "Maiznīca Flora" Ltd, AS "Latvijas Finieris" tree nursery "Zābaki" and walking stick workshop in Sigulda Castle quarter.
On 3 October, at 17.00, President Edgars Rinkēvičs will meet with the residents of the municipality at Sigulda Culture Centre “Siguldas Devons”.
