Visit of the President of Latvia and the First Lady to Rundāle Palace includes a meeting with Laura Lūse, Director of the Rundāle Palace Museum, and art historian and painter Imants Lancmanis, who has been museum’s ‘soul’ for many years, as well as Rundāle Palace Museum Research Department Chief Expert and curator Lauma Lancmane. Egils Levits and Andra Levite will then tour the main exhibition of the Palace and exhibition ‘From the Gothic Style to Art Nouveau’, plant rose tree ‘Marga’ created by breeder Dzidra Rieksta in the Palace’s Rose Garden and walk around the Palace Garden.
President and First Lady will visit the Latvian National Museum of Art to see the exhibition ‘Family’ created by Ēriks Apaļais.
