The President of Latvia will talk with officials and mass media in Berlin about the future of Europe and Latvian-German bilateral relations

On Friday, August 16, President of Latvia Egils Levits will pay visit to Germany to discuss bilateral relations between Latvia and Germany, the future of the European Union, and security challenges in Europe, with German officials and the media in the capital of Germany, Berlin.

Federal President of Germany Dr. Frank Walter Steinmeier will host President of Latvia Egils Levits at his official residence, Schloss Bellevue. President Levits will also meet with the President of the Bundestag Dr. Wolfgang Schäuble in the Reichstag building.

During his working visit, the President of Latvia will visit the largest media house in Europe, Axel Springer Verlag, where he will meet with several editors and journalists, as well as give an interview to Die Welt.

On August 17, President of Latvia Egils Levits will meet with representatives of the Latvian diaspora.
