Senior Latvian officials involved in the implementation of foreign policy discussed the upcoming European Council meeting in Brussels and further support for Ukraine. The officials agreed on the need to continue political, military, economic, and financial support to Ukraine and expressed their strong support for the launch of accession negotiations with the European Union.
During the meeting, Latvia's position on the situation in the Middle East was discussed.
