In recognition of Dzintra Hirša’s role in development and implementation of official language policy, President of Latvia Egils Levits has decided to award a Certificate of Merit to the esteemed linguist, politician and former director of the State Language Centre.
‘Thank you for your admirable and outstanding service to one of the core constitutional values of the Latvian State, the official language, which has become better protected and stronger because of you,’ President of Latvia Egils Levits underlines.
Certificate of Merit will be presented during a special ceremony held at a later date.
