“There are strong and smart people living in Latvia, whose daily selfless work and the feeling of national unity are shaping our country. The power of Latvia roots in the love of the native country, the family, and in energetic work,” emphasised the President of Latvia when addressing the audience.
There were 103 state decorations presented at the official ceremony in the Riga Castle. There were 33 people awarded the Order of the Three Stars, 22 people awarded the Order of Viesturs, and 48 people bestowed the Cross of Recognition.
