On 6 October, President of Latvia Egils Levits reviewed clemency appeals of 13 convicted persons, rejecting 10, and granting pardon to 3 convicted persons.
Partial pardon granted to convicts included reduced sentences. Additional punishment, probation, was fully lifted for one of the convicted persons.
