On 5 June, President of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs met with members of the Association Mazjūras zvejnieki to discuss the key coastal fishing challenges. “Valuable discussion with fishermen, and my impressions from today’s visit, confirmed the unique nature of coastal fishing as a craft, which is perpetuated mainly by coastal region families and new generation of fishermen who hold these traditions dear and are ready to further them.
