On Friday, 13 June 2025, President Edgars Rinkēvičs reviewed clemency requests of 14 convicted persons. Of these, 12 clemency requests were not granted, while two individuals were pardoned. One convicted person has been fully released from serving the principal sentence, while another convicted person has had their criminal record expunged.
